After years of "jam sessions" with the family in the basement; he began to perfect his many crafts. In grade school, he joined The Imani Dance Co., and began learning to play Djembe and other traditional African drums. High school spawned deejaying and sampling, which of course transitioned into music production...you know...BEATS!
